The sports daily 'Il Quotidiano Sportivo', on newsstands this morning, carries the following headline:
“Amorim-Almstadt: Milan’s transfer market is in their hands.”
Gerry Cardinale has chosen the new organisational structure of the Rossoneri. As for transfers, a key role will be played by Ruben Amorim, who will have to communicate the type of player he needs; then it will be up to Almstadt, with the support of Gardiner and Lomonte, to meet his requests.
Milan’s top priority in the transfer market remains signing a top-class centre-forward. One name that Amorim is particularly keen on is his fellow Portuguese compatriot Gonçalo Ramos, the PSG striker who could leave Paris because he wants more playing time. Reports in Portugal have stated that he is the new Rossoneri coach’s preferred choice to strengthen Milan’s attacking department.
