Ruben Amorim’s arrival on the Milan bench, along with his central role in transfer market dynamics almost as if he were an English-style manager, means that the first names circulating around Milan’s future are in particular Portuguese players and talents. Many of these are former Sporting players under Amorim, and almost all are players belonging to the stable of super-agent Jorge Mendes, who is set to become the key figure in Milan’s transfer dealings.

Milan, Amorim, and Mendes...
Describing what is effectively a transfer triangle between Milan, Amorim and Mendes, 'Quotidiano Sportivo' this morning devoted coverage to it directly in the lower part of its front page. The Italian newspaper writes:
"Mendes’ top players in the sights of the new Milan"
In the subheading, it then lists several key names, also reported in recent hours by other sources: "From Trincao to Ramos, via Goncalves. Many targets belong to the agent’s stable."
