Speaking on 'Tutti Convocati' on 'Radio 24', colleague Carlo Pellegatti commented on the arrival of Gonçalo Ramos at Milan for 74 million euros plus bonuses. These were his words:
“The truth is that Milan have signed a player, when he scores I will raise my scarf and I will not bring up the financial statements saying that we are poorer. These were the choices that were made. We have always said that Milan were focusing on the league title of the balance sheet; with this signing they are not winning the balance sheet league title, unless it leads us to sell 10 players, which is unpredictable. I am told that there will be a rather lively transfer market because if Van Dijk does not arrive, the other one they like is Gonçalo Inácio, who costs 30/40 million. The transfer market is very Amorim-centred.”
