Journalist Matteo Moretto spoke on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel about Karetsas and Milan:
“The Borussia Dortmund are pushing hard with Genk to sign Karetsas. The two clubs are in constant negotiations, with Borussia sending more than one offer. There is a deal being discussed, but I can tell you that Milan have not abandoned this track. In fact, Milan are still there, they are still in the race, and as long as the player has not said yes to Borussia, they still feel they have a chance.
"It is normal that the club feels at a disadvantage because they need to make some sales first, but I would keep the Rossoneri option alive, while being aware that Borussia are pushing strongly.”
