Due to his left knee injury, Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not be able to take part in the Euro Cup with Sweden's national team.
After the positive training sessions in March, coach Janne Andersson's hope of having him available in June vanishes. The Swedish coach himself said he was very sorry about Ibra's absence:
“Zlatan was sorry, very sorry for how it ended . As sorry as I was. We were two sorry, very sad people talking to each other. The last meeting in March with Zlatan was very positive from all points of view. I thought we could add his unique qualities. So I was very sorry and so was he."
