The FIGC Federal Prosecutor's Office is working to ascertain alleged alterations to expense reimbursements in the arbitration sector. As Ansa reported.
The conclusion of the investigation by the federal prosecutors, which began over a month ago, is expected in days. Following a report, in agreement with the presidency of the AIA, the FIGC immediately took action by promoting a wide-ranging internal investigation to check for any administrative irregularities in the reporting of reimbursements at any level.
There are three Serie A referees suspended pending the investigation by the FIGC Prosecutor's Office on alleged alterations in expense reimbursements: the three names are Fabrizio Pasqua, Federico La Penna, and Ivan Robilotta. Four assistants have also been stopped for the time being.
"An implementation of the objective of maximum associative transparency and as already communicated on this site in recent days, the new governance of the AIA has launched internal administrative and accounting audits on the compliance of reimbursements-expenses disbursed for technical and associative activities", explains the Hague in a note.
