Ruben Amorim’s new AC Milan side are just hours away from making their debut at San Siro. The Rossoneri are coming off a convincing away victory over Torino on the opening day of the 2026/27 season. Tomorrow night, however, they face an opponent they absolutely must not underestimate.
Newly promoted Venezia will be looking to bounce back after their disappointing defeat to Lecce last week. Following a disappointing end to last season, which concluded with a home defeat against Cagliari, the Rossoneri will be determined to make a strong start to the new campaign, as relayed via Milannews.it.
One thing is certain: if Milan’s strength last season was their performances in the big matches, while their weakness came against the so-called “smaller” teams, Amorim’s men will need to reverse (or at least balance) that trend this season by picking up points against opponents who are theoretically more manageable.
There is plenty of enthusiasm, particularly from outside the club, surrounding a wonderful initiative introduced by RedBird owner Gerry Cardinale.
In fact, all Milanello employees were personally invited by Gerry Cardinale, who wanted to give them the opportunity to experience tomorrow evening together from the stands at San Siro.
It was a gesture of appreciation for their daily commitment and the fundamental role they play in supporting the team, as well as an exciting way to involve the entire AC Milan family.
If this is to be a season filled with success and excitement, then even the “non-playing” side of football will need to play a fundamental role, with everyone united and working together for the good of AC Milan.
