Milan striker Francesco Camarda gave an interview to Andrea Riscassi of RaiSport from the Italy Under-21 camp.
What is your relationship like with Silvio Baldini?
"The coach is a special person to me, but also to the whole group. He teaches us a lot about life because he has a great deal of experience, not only as a coach but also as a person. He cares about us and we care about him just as much," said Camarda. "We follow him, we respect him and, personally, I would go to war for him. I would throw myself into anything for him."

Amorim says, 'I love Cisse.' What about you?
"Alpha is a really strong player. He's a friend of mine and I'm really happy for him. He deserves it because he's a serious guy who works very hard. I'm very happy with what he's doing and what he's already achieved, and I'm convinced he'll continue to do well."
You have reunited with Liberali in the national team after your years together at Milan...
"I get on really well with Mattia Liberali off the pitch too. Even last year, when we went our separate ways for the first time, we stayed in touch and spoke quite often. He's also a really talented player, and I feel very comfortable playing alongside him."
Camarda, why couldn't you break the deadlock earlier against Armenia?
"It was a difficult game against Armenia because they were all sitting deep and turned the match into a battle. They were very physical and played quite dirty. We still created a lot of chances, which is a good thing, but it was also down to us and our quality to find a way to break the deadlock earlier. We kept going until the very end, and I think the work we've put in over these days paid off, because goals and wins at the last minute only come when you truly believe."
Now you need to beat Poland by two goals to qualify directly for the European Championship...
"The game against Poland is like any other: we'll play to win, while trying to show what we're capable of. We're a strong team, we're a very united group, so this game doesn't worry me because we're ready."
You don't play much at Milan. Does the Under-21 also give you a chance to find some consistency? Camarda answered:
"I'm just waiting for my moment, and I'm using these Under-21 games first and foremost to do well for the Under-21s because the national team means a lot to me, and we all really want to qualify for the European Championship. Then there's also the personal side of things."
Can you win the European Championship?
"We all have to believe in it together, but we have to genuinely believe. As I said, we're a family, we have great quality and huge potential, and I think we can do it."
