Gonçalo Ramos, who scored one goal and missed a penalty today, spoke to DAZN after Milan's 3-2 win over Atalanta. Here are the words of the Rossoneri centre-forward.
Are you thinking more about the penalty you scored or the one you missed?
"I'm not thinking about either of them. I know what I can do better, but we don't have time to dwell on it: now there's another match in three days, and we're thinking about that one."
On Amorim's requests regarding his movements to occupy the penalty area:
"It's something we're trying to improve. The coach talks to me, he tells me to be in the box more. The team is also working on this, everyone, not just me. We'll improve in the next matches."
Do you talk about objectives in the dressing room? The Scudetto, the Champions League race...
"Our objective is to win every match. We're not focused on the end of the season. We want to win every match, and by doing so, we can win everything, which is what a club like Milan must do," said Ramos.
Pippo Inzaghi was at the stadium today. Who is your favourite striker in Milan's history?
"Difficult question, I don't think I can choose just one. Being young, the one I know best is Zlatan, he's my favourite. But there are so many in Milan's history. Inzaghi, Van Basten, Sheva, Ronaldo Nazario... We could stay here all night listing them. It was nice to see that he was here, to win and to have scored."
Would it help you to have more technically gifted players close to you to link up with? Ramos replied:
"In the last few matches, we've had many players close to me, we've exchanged passes many times, even between the lines. We're improving and getting to know each other better, and that way we'll be able to improve in the next matches."
