Sky Sport Deutschland reports that both Milanese clubs are following Niko Ilicevic with interest, with a view to the future.
He is an attacking midfielder born in 2010 who has been part of Eintracht Frankfurt’s youth academy since the age of eight. The club intends to tie him down with his first professional contract once he turns 16 on 31 October. A twist of fate, as that is precisely the date on which the Milan-Inter derby is scheduled.
Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City are also said to be tracking him.
At international level, he plays for Germany’s Under-17 team (two goals in three appearances), having previously been part of the German Under-15 (one goal in two appearances) and Under-16 (two goals in seven appearances) youth teams, as pointed out via Calcio Mercato today.
