AC Milan will play a very difficult match in Udine this evening, not only because Udinese have historically been a troublesome opponent for the Rossoneri, but above all because of the many injuries the team has to deal with at the moment.
Moreira, Rabiot and Gila will be unavailable, along with Chukwueze, Gabbia and Saelemaekers. Six important absentees, many of whom are regular starters.
Regardless of how the match against the Udinese side ends, however, head coach Ruben Amorim is not at risk. The project will continue with the Portuguese coach despite the very bad defeat in Bournemouth and the injuries, and the club has not questioned Amorim, as relayed via Milan News.
It is not yet time to take stock. The season is still long and there will certainly be many challenges, but it was predictable that the first injuries could arrive at this stage of the campaign, with so many matches close together due to an extremely congested schedule. Nevertheless, Moreira, Rabiot and Gila's injuries do not appear to be serious. In fact, all three are expected to return between the next match against Bologna and the following game against Inter.
