Gianluca Di Marzio, journalist and transfer market expert, spoke on Sky Sport about AC Milan's upcoming transfer market moves:
"Cardinale said before the match: 'There will be an announcement soon', and he was referring to the Head of Football, who, according to our information, will be Krösche, arriving from Eintracht Frankfurt. So, when there is a new person in charge of the sporting area, I think it will be right to discuss things with him. The coach will speak to him to understand what the team's needs might be."
Di Marzio added:
"I definitely think another defender is needed. Milan had made an attempt in the final hours of the transfer window to sign Inacio from Sporting. Sporting had said no, hoping to raise the price a little, but then no higher-level offers arrived, so I think Milan could return for Inacio. Then we also need to understand what to do up front. In other words, whether to send Camarda out on loan to get playing time, given that he has had very little, and what type of striker to play behind Ramos, who, even today, has practically... but in terms of the work rate that was highlighted in the studio right up until the end, he almost played as a defender. I don't know how much ground he covered. Before this match, he had run 91 kilometres, which makes him the Serie A player who had covered the most distance, and I think he increased that statistic again."
