Christian Pulisic likes to be decisive. And why wouldn’t he, especially because in derbies glory is handed out in abundance.
Christian Pulisic has scored in four city derbies against Inter, and in all four Milan have won: on September 22, 2024, with Fonseca as coach; in the Italian Super Cup in January 2025 in Riyadh; in November 2025 in the 1-0 victory with Allegri on the bench; and in Saturday evening’s 3-1 victory.
If he scores, the Rossoneri take home the three points: a gratifying trend. Just as satisfying is the contract renewal obtained during the week.
Everything is perfect, then, for Pulisic:
"Renewing with Milan," he wrote on social media, "has always been my wish. The bond I have with this club, with this city and with our incredible fans means everything to me. The club and the fans have always stood by me during difficult times, never ceasing to believe in me. I will never forget this support and I am determined to repay it. I want the coming years to be the best ever, full of unforgettable moments and victories. Let’s write history together. Forza Milan."
On Thursday, against Ferencvaros, Pulisic could rest so that he can be 100% ready again for Sunday’s match in Genoa.
