David Odogu arrived at AC Milan as a complete surprise on the final day of the 2025 summer transfer window, joining from Wolfsburg for around €6 million plus bonuses. He was a young talent with only a handful of minutes played in the Bundesliga, but he had an established record with Germany's youth national teams and was considered one of the best defensive prospects for the future.
However, his first Serie A season was full of difficulties, to the point that he never featured under Allegri. Last summer, Toulouse, another club within the RedBird network, was chosen as his destination in order to give him more playing time in Ligue 1.
Odogu is yet to make an appearance for French club Toulouse...
Toulouse are playing some excellent football and sit in mid-table with 10 points collected from nine matches. Odogu, however, is not among the protagonists. He missed three matches due to muscular problems and remained on the bench for the other six. So far, he is yet to make his Ligue 1 debut.
This experience has not gone according to Milan's expectations, and the Rossoneri could decide to bring Odogu back as early as January before determining his next destination for the second half of the season. This was reported by Calcio Mercato.
