Per TuttoMercatoWeb, Fiorentina sets a price tag of 60 million for their young star, as they look to lock the player in for the future. Dusan Vlahovic seems to be the dream signing for many clubs in Serie A. The player has already established himself as a reliable goalscorer at just 21 years old. The issue for many clubs, however, is that Fiorentina have no intention on selling their player, and have established an expensive price tag, and will not accept any counterparts in a deal.
Vlahovic will likely not find another home in Serie A with that price tag. Roma currently are making an aggressive move for Belotti, Juventus look to take Icardi in on loan, Inter must sell before they can buy, and Milan are not in the position to spend 60 million for one player. The only option would be for the player to go abroad, but with such an expensive price, it is not expected for many clubs to come calling.
Las Violas want to satisfy their player economically, and have offered the player a solid salary, but there is still some disagreement on the release clause. Vlahovic's entourage would like to lessen the asking price to keep other suitors interested. Fiorentina certainly see Vlahovic as a key to their future success, and want to build the team around the forward.
Milan were attracted to the Vlahovic profile for some time, but cannot afford the current price tag. Milan have spent their funds investing in the purchase of Tomori and Tonali this summer, and will not be able to afford a blockbuster purchase of a forward. The Rossoneri will certainly continue their search for a forward this summer, but may have to cross the Serbian off their wishlist.
