According to a report from Il Corriere dello Sport, AC Milan's Portuguese winger and former Lille player Rafael Leao could be potentially looking at an exit towards a different destination.
The same newspaper explains that Milan has a target in mind if the Portuguese winger leaves and that would be Sampdoria's Danish player of 20 years old: Mikkel Damsgaard.
Leao's talent and potential is not questioned but his period at the San Siro so far was full of ups and downs. There was no consistency. Therefore, if Milan are presented a good financial offer, then they will consider it.
On the other hand, Damsgaard is very appreciated by the club who could play as a playmaker as well as on the wing. In the last season, he featured in 37 games for Sampdoria. He scored 2 goals and assisted 4 others. His contract ties him to the Italian club until June 2024.
