Tuttosport: Rafael Leao risks the same fate as M’baye Niang

Rafael Leao's future with AC Milan is not certain. The player had a season that was highlighted by fluctuating performances over the course of the year.

The Portuguese's winger has a talent, but it lacks consistency. For their part Milan are aware of it, but a good financial offer may be considered.

As pointed out by Calciomercato.com, Milan does not see this sale in particular as a necessity. However, they would like to monetise if an offer of 30 million euros arrives.

It should be worth noting that Leao's agent is Jorge Mendes who has many relations in the football world, therefore, solutions are not lacking. Everton were interested and tried to suggest an exchange deal involving James Rodriguez. Wolverhampton are also understood to be keen.

However, Leao is not convinced by these Premier League sides and would prefer to stay at Milan.

But, another club may change the winger's stance: Borussia Dortmund are big fans of the player's qualities and the former Lille would welcome such a destination.

As reported by the source, there are only polls at the moment from the German club. If these said 'polls' were to turn into a concrete offer then the track could take off quickly. The Rossoneri managers and Leao are waiting and in the meantime, they prepare to return to training pre-season camp in July 8 in view of the new season.
