Sandro Tonali, 21 year old Italian central midfielder, spent a season-long loan at the San Siro after coming from Brescia.
The buy-option for the player was set but Milan negotiated better financial terms in order to save some costs.
Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara managed to obtain a discount from Brescia and even were successful to convince Tonali to take a pay-cut.
Now, according to Di Marzio, here are the details of the deal between Milan and Brescia for the midfielder:
"The operation was defined in detail today. Last year Milan paid a 10 million euros loan and the agreement for the redemption was reached for a bonus of 7 million euros + 3 other millions today."
The journalist adds that that Cellino made a strange demand to make the deal completed, as he declared in Sky Sport's studio:
"Brescia wanted 6,999,000 euros (instead of a full 7 million euros amount. Furthermore, Tonali will sign on Wednesday instead of Tomorrow due to some superstitious beliefs that Massimo Cellino has."
