Today at Milanello, Olivier Giroud reported for duty and officially started his adventure with the club as he took part of the training session with his new teammates under the guidance of coach Stefano Pioli.
The Frenchman is a great addition. Nevertheless, he is not enough for AC Milan in the attack. There are plans to reinforce the striker's role with one more addition, probably a young centre-forward.
Many reports, in this sense, have suggested that Milan are pressing hard to sign Santos' striker Kaio Jorge. The Rossoneri club are trying to sign the player in this mercato session, but Serie A rivals Juventus are also keen.
Commenting on this matter, Kaio Jorge's former coach, Alexis Stival Beludo , known to the world of football as Cuca, said the following:
"Even though he is not yet twenty, Kaio has already shown great qualities. He is a striker who moves a lot in the penalty area, he is not static, he tries a lot to play the ball with his other teammates and not at all selfish. Tactically he is prepared. With me he came back a lot to help out in the middle of the field. He is a very quiet guy, he spends a lot of time on social media and loves to go out. He does the same thing as kids his age. He is very professional, he has never had problems with discipline and behavior. I hope he will go to Juve and he will be very happy."
Kaio Jorge is also reportedly being followed by Benfica. His contract expires in December this year.
