As we reported to you earlier today, Sandro Tonali will not be joining the senior national team of Roberto Mancini. The ex Inter and Manchester City boss is very impressed with the former Brescia player. But, Italy's U-21 national team coach decided that he needed him. The Rossonero number 8's importance is crucial to his plans.
Paolo Nicolato, the U-21 coach, expressed himself about the situation with these words:
"I have no doubts about this guy. The first time he wore the blue shirt. he played with me in the Under 18, so I have known him and his qualities for a long time. I have to pay him a special compliment because Sandro, who had already breathed the atmosphere of the National First Team, had the considerable ability to then return to the Under 21. It is not an easy thing from an emotional point of view, and it is not so obvious. The young Italian promising talent of AC Milan, is just 21 years old. He will be called up to the national team soon enough. The player intends to give his all with the youth team under the instructions of Paolo Nicolato, of course.
