Ivan Gazidis is in New York currently as he is being treated from throat cancer that he was diagnosed with. The club CEO, after months spent in the United States of American, seems ready to return to Milano and resume his work at Casa Milan.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's print edition, Ivan Gazidis is feeling better as the treatments are working for him. He will get back to work immediately, but he never really stopped, even when he was away, he continued working remotely in collaboration with Milan executives.
The newspaper points out that Gazidis has in his agenda the urgent mission of contract renewals. He will evaluate the situation relating to Franck Kessié most of all as well as Alessio Romagnoli. Then, there is coach Stefano Pioli's contract.
He will also work to put pressure on the municipal administration regarding the new stadium project of AC Milan and Inter.
Finally, the club CEO will have to establish a budget for any incoming signings in January's transfer window, also taking into account the half-yearly balance that will be approved in a few days.
