Alessio Romagnoli was replaced by Simon Kjaer in the last game, which was matchday 10 of the Serie A against Torino.
The player was substituted by the AC Milan coach, Pioli, at half time as the manager offered the following explanation after the victory in a press conference:
"He was sore in the buttock. It was a tough game. He also had a yellow card..."
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's edition, Romagnoli must dispose of a nuisance to the buttock. Simon Kjaer will be playing as a starter against AS Roma. For the match against Porto, however, there might be room for the team captain to start.
