Davide Calabria is back to Stefano Pioli's disposal after having tested negative for Covid-19 yesterday. The full-back's last appearance with the red and black faithful was back in November. First, he had a muscle injury which kept him out for some time and then, there was the coronavirus.
The one who stepped up his game and replaced him in the right-back role was Alessandro Florenzi who is at Milanello on loan from AS Roma. The former PSG defender has found a good form now after a difficult start to the season while being mostly used as right-winger. Now, during this period, he even found his first goal with the AC Milan team.
Stefano Pioli will have good options for the right-back position to choose from: Florenzi and Calabria (without forgetting the flexible defender Pierre Kalulu who can play also as a centre-bakc).
Against Spezia, however, Florenzi is tipped to start while the Rossoneri Primavera graduate tries to get back to an optimal physical condition, reports MilanPress.it.
