Simon Kjaer is out until the rest of the season and Fikayo Tomori has just started his rehabilitation. Stefano Pioli has limited options in the back as he waits for the return of Alessio Romagnoli (who is currently positive for Covid-19 as of now).

Many profiles are being followed in defence and Sven Botman is understood to be a dream signing for Paolo Maldini and sporting director Frederic Massara. The Lille star is a difficult target to reach this winter.

As per Calciomercatonews.com, many transfer market intermediaries are well aware that the Rossoneri are looking for a defender and agents have come forward presenting their clients. The latest player offered to the club was indeed rejected by the AC Milan sporting director, Frederic Massara, the central defender is Mohamed Camara who plays for Swiss outfit BSC Young Boys.

Mohamed Camara is a 24-year-old who featured in the Champions League this season as he played against Serie A side Atalanta and Premier League giants Manchester United. If Milan were to decide on starting negotiations, the cost would be around 7 million euros. However, again according to the source, Frederic Massara is not a big fan of this deal and has kindly declined the opportunity to sign the centre-back from Guinea.

This season, Camara played 26 games and scored 1 goal. His contract runs until June 2024.
