AC Milan management, led by Frederic Massara and Paolo Maldini, have been trying many times to renew the contract of Franck Kessié.
The Ivorian midfielder offers a lot of quality and physicality in the middle of the field and the club directors do not want to lose him for free. The attempts to convince him put pen to paper in the last months have gone unanswered. However, it appears that Paolo Maldini is willing to give this one more attempt.
According to Tuttosport, MIlan offered Kessie a figure of 5 million euros plus bonuses that makes it reach up to 6.5 million. It is a last attempt by the club, even when Kessié's fate seems sealed at the moment. There are Premier League clubs interested in signing him on a free as well as La Liga giants FC Barcelona and Real Madrid without forgetting even Italian clubs.
