Brazilian midfielder Lucas Paqueta has attracted some eyeballs to his direction thanks to his displays with Olympique Lyonnais in Ligue 1 since his arrival from AC Milan.
The former Flamengo talent was a signing from Leonardo for Milan. The former sporting director (currently at PSG) brought his countryman to Milanello in January 2019 for a fee valued at around 38 million euros. He was later sold to Lyon for 20 million euros in September 2020.

Right now, Paquetà is enjoying himself in France. This season so far, he has amassed 9 goals and 6 assists to his name in 37 appearances and has shown so much potential and maturity. His performances have not gone unnoticed.

According to the Chronicle, the Premier League may be the next stop in Paquetà's adventure in the European scene. In fact, English clubs Newcastle and Arsenal are understood to be following him. The Gunners could be in pole position to sign the Brazilian in case they qualify to Champions League next season. The Magpies, on the other hand, have good relations with the French thanks to doing business already with them before (Bruno Guimares transfer in the winter for 40 million euros).
Lyon, for their part, would ask for a fee of 70 million euros to let their star leave.
AC Milan are observing the situation closely as this potential move would mean added revenue to Milan as they have a 20% on any future resale of Lucas Paqueta.
