American hedge fun Elliott Management Corporation could choose to sell the AC Milan football club soon if they find an agreement with potential investors who will have to dig deep in their pockets.
Yesterday, there was the indiscretion that the change of ownership could happen soon with InvestCorp reportedly in talks to purchase the club. The Bahrain-based company did not confirm nor deny the rumours when Milan Reports contacted them. Then, an Elliott spokesperson told our microphones that there are investors who showed interest in the club especially in the recent period when the AC Milan team showed progress on and off the pitch.
Obviously and naturally now, there is speculation about what life would be like if InvestCorp take over the club. Repubblica in today's edition explained that Paolo Maldini would remain at Milan anyway and that his contract renewal is not in question. His contract expires in June 2022, same as Frederic Massara.
