AC Milan's Portuguese left-winger, Rafael Leao, talked about himself and how this current Serie A season is going so far for him and the team. Here are his words on his YouTube channel:
"I think this is the season in which I am showing the most consistency. I changed some habits and I think doing this has helped me improve my performance in matches, so that I can make a difference on the pitch."
He added:
"Playing for your national team is the gratitude for the hard work and continuity I have shown on the pitch. It's hitting a milestone, it gave me an extra boost to keep working and maintaining this level of performance. Because the national team has many young players and a lot and I want to be among them."
On his arrival to Italy:
"When I came to Milan, I felt the thrill of wearing this shirt, even more so when we played big matches. It is a great responsibility."
Rafael Leao on the derby:
"Obviously, I feel the tension. I know that even if I don't play a great game, it's an important game to win and this year even more because it would make a difference in the championship fight. Winning the Madonnina derby is the highest point of being a Rossoneri, we were totally focused on this challenge. We also know that winning it can give us even more strength to complete the rest of the season and help us win the Scudetto that the fans dream of as we haven't won it since the 2010/11 season."
