AC Milan star Mike Maignan and club captain Alessio Romagnoli have both spoken to the microphones of Milan TV as they express their emotions with the Scudetto number 19 of the Rossoneri which is the first Serie A title in their careers. Here are the captain's words first who finally had the chance to lift the trophy tonight:
"I think it's deserved. I have been suffering for many years and now we enjoy it to the end. I take this opportunity to thank everyone, it is an unforgettable moment. I don't know what I will do in the future but in the meantime… I am proud to be part of this team, we have been the strongest and we have shown it."
As for Mike Maignan, here are his words:
"This is a strong emotion. We have worked all season for this. I said before that we work to win, this year we won and Milan is Rossoneri. The Curva Sud was extraordinary."
