Florentino Pérez, president of La Liga giants Real Madrid, spoke to El Chiringuito about the Super League breakaway project, which AC Milan is part of.
Here are his statements:
"We have taken the matter to the Court of Luxembourg and there will be a hearing soon. We believe we have the right to organise competitions with ourselves. We understand that UEFA is a monopoly, organiser, regulator, judge and that one of the pillars of the European Union is competition."
Also Florentino Pérez:
"Yes, Super League is still alive, of course. We are on it. Champions League football for us has never been in doubt. We've never been worried for Real Madrid to be excluded by Uefa."
