Mattia Caldara's card is owned by AC Milan. He spent the last season on loan with Venezia but the buy-option will not be activated. The former Atalanta and Juventus central defender will be back to Milanello. But, he will not remain there for too long as he is not included in Pioli's vision. He is very likely to leave in the summer.
According to what is reported by Nicolo Schira on his Twitter page, the centre-back's future is far away from the San Siro.
In fact, three Italian clubs have expressed their interest in signing him. Empoli, Bologna and Cremonese have asked for information regarding Mattia Caldara.
The Italian 28-year-old defender has a contract valid until June 2023. He has appeared in 33 games for Venezia in the latest season and even scored 1 goal while providing one assist.
