Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still recovering from the surgery to his left knee as it is expected to keep him out of the playing field until the start of the new year. In January, he should be returning gradually. Despite that long period of absence, the Swede will remain part of the Rossoneri thanks to a contract renewal.
As per The Athletic, Zlatan Ibrahimovic will sign a one-year contract extension at AC Milan. His previous contract expired on June 30, 2022 but an extension now with the Italian champions seems only a matter of time.
Despite struggling with various physical problems, the former Manchester United, Inter, Juventus and FC Barcelona striker scored 8 goals in 23 league appearances last season besides registering 3 assists.
