Italy national team head coach, Roberto Mancini, granted an interview to the microphones of Il Giornale in which he discussed multiple topics, including Stefano Pioli. He had much praise to say. Here are his statements about the AC Milan tactician...
Your ideal coach is a mix between Eriksson and Boskov? Do you see one in Italy today?
"I find it the perfect mix because I am the opposite: between character and tactical aspects, and in knowing how to play with any form and type of player. Today, I would say Pioli, it seems to me precisely that mix. Then you have to know the person well. But also, Simone Inzaghi is good and Allegri has experience. But in general the Italian coaches are good."
