AC Milan's sporting director, Frederic Massara, has spoken to the microphones of DAZN minutes before kick-off of the match between the Rossoneri and Napoli at the San Siro stadium. Here are his statements:
"Napoli worked well in the mercato. We are satisfied, we are convinced that we have a competitive team, we are satisfied and happy. The characteristics of football go more and more towards speed and quality, who has more strength in the legs can make the difference. Pioli is doing a great job, he has made all the players grow."
On Rafael Leao and Krunic as his replacement, Massara said:
"Leao has offensive characteristics. Krunic will give more balance. We lose some speed, but we gain balance. I don't know if it's a championship match, time will tell, but it's a great match. We expect a great show, they are two strong teams. The Scudetto is still far away, but it will be a difficult test that both teams want to overcome."
