AC Milan's centre-forward, Olivier Giroud, former player of Chelsea, has spoken to Amazon Prime Video ahead of the Champions League fixture at the Stamford Bridge that sees his Rossoneri team take on his former side, the Blues.
Here are his statements:
"It is a pleasure for me to return to London: I was at Chelsea for 9 years, this stadium is special and we have done good things in the past. But now I'm here with the Rossoneri colours and I want to do well with Milan."
He continued:
"The coach asked me to say a few words to the guys: I told my guys that I'm proud of them, we showed our quality in Italy and we have to do it in Europe too."
Giroud concluded:
"Those words I said came from the heart. We have great determination to do well, even for those who have stayed at home."
