Charles De Ketelaere will be unavailable, unfortunately, for AC Milan against Chelsea tomorrow at the San Siro pitch. The Belgian talent is suffering a muscle strain and he has worked in the gym today and did not train with his teammates.
As pointed out by Calciomercato.com, the former Club Brugge player is still far from Pioli's ideas and tactics. He has so far 75% successful passes, only 20% tackles won, only 30% aerial duels completed and less than 50% overall.
De Ketelaere is not yet the profile who Milan can really rely on in the attacking midfield to execute the instructions of Pioli perfectly. He needs time to understand everything. He needs to work more in training (when he returns from injury) and try his best to apply what is asked from him.
Calcio Mercato add that this injury is a stop that could almost certainly keep him away even in the match against Verona (Sunday, October 16th). It is a definitely a setback that is not needed especially at a difficult timing for his growth.
