Chelsea's central defender, Thiago Silva, who played for AC Milan in the past has spoken in a press conference to the media about tomorrow's clash between the two clubs in the Champions League. Here are his words about returning to face his former team at the San Siro stadium:
"Returning to the San Siro? My spell spent at Milan already took place here. If there was a possibility to return it was before joining Chelsea but it didn’t happen. I don’t know what will happen in the future, maybe a return as a coach."
Which player struck you the most at Milan?
"Certainly Tomori impressed me: I was with him a few months before he came here to Milan. I knew that for him it is not easy: a boy with so much quality who has changed country and culture. He has shown that he has great quality. The best school football for a defender is Italy, I always say that. Today I am excited and tomorrow even more, my wife will surely cry ... I hope that in the end we can laugh together at what we have lived and to be able to win."
How can you stop the attack of Milan? Thiago Silva said:
"It will be a difficult game and it will not be easy to defend. Great players don't miss two games in a row. We have to be careful of Leao but also of the players who give him the ball and those he passes to, for example Giroud in the penalty area. With Theo, Milan can do a lot. He is one of the best full-backs in the world at the moment. He attacks and defends well."
