In today's print edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper, we read about Lorenzo Colombo, AC Milan's centre-forward who is currently on loan from Lecce.

The Italian striker of the Italy U-21 national team received a call-up recently from Roberto Mancini in order to see how he'd be doing with the senior team, also given his improvement since the start of this season.

AC Milan also always keep an eye on their loanee Colombo. Lecce have an option to sign him permanently for a fee around 3.5 million euros. However, the Rossoneri do have a buy-back option valued at 4.5 million euros inserted in the agreement.

As per the source, The most probable hypothesis is that Colombo will return to Milanello in June, but it is too early to indicate his future just yet. Even if Lecce would be happy to keep him for another season, the fact is that other clubs are monitoring his situation to see if they can recruit him.

Colombo has already scored three goals this season, against Napoli , Udinese and Sampdoria and he has no intention of stopping. When the championship resumes, he will face Ciro Immobile's Lazio: a challenge and a comparison that further empowers him, as relayed by Pianeta Milan.
