According to what is reported by Il Corriere dello Sport in this morning's print edition, AC Milan are keen to reinforce the squad of head coach Stefano Pioli with an important talent from France.
As per the source, the name being monitored by the club is Houssem Aouar who is 24 years old. He plays for Olympique de Lyon and has a contract which expires at the end of the current season. The newspaper wrote the following headline:
"Aouar, Milan's card for the summer."
The Franco-Algerian star's contract with Lyon does not seem to be heading towards renewal. This is why a player who is still young but with his experience could be an interesting shot for Milan's midfield. However, to land the attacking midfielder, AC Milan will have to beat competition from several clubs including Real Betis who are very interested in him. The player, though, prefers a move to Serie A or the Premier League.
