AC Milan's winger, Rafael Leao, took the spotlight at the Maradona stadium thanks his brace, but it's impossible not to praise yesterday evening's performance by Brahim Diaz.
The Spanish loanee of Real Madrid scored a goal and provided a beautiful assist to his Portuguese teammate, as well as making many great plays, like the dribble past Lobotka that led to the Leao's first goal.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport explains, the former Manchester City talent has expressed all his happiness on social media ("This is AC Milan! Great team game, let's go!"), but he also wanted to dedicate the goal he scored to his maternal grandfather who unfortunately passed away a few days ago ("This goal is for you, grandpa. Rest in peace").
