In today's print edition, Tuttosport reported that Zlatan Ibrahimovic's arrival to AC Milan is imminent.
In fact, Meetings, the latest one a week ago, with Gerry Cardinale, managing partner of the RedBird fund and owner of the Rossoneri club, have led to an agreement. Now, only the official announcement is missing.
According to the Turin-based newspaper, the announcement should arrive in the next few days. The break for the national teams, considering the current state of Stefano Pioli's team, is the ideal moment for Ibrahimovic to return to his Milan to lend a hand.
Most likely, Zlatan will not have a specific role in the Rossoneri's management but will be framed as an advisor for RedBird, perhaps as a special advisor to Gerry Cardinale himself. His functions will obviously be exercised primarily (but not only) in the context of Milan, as relayed via Pianeta Milan.
Ibrahimovic will work closely with coach Stefano Pioli and the Rossoneri team. He will often be at Milanello. However, he could also be available for discussions with Stefano Pioli, his staff and also CEO Giorgio Furlani.
