The Italian journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio, has spoken to Sky Sport Italia today about AC Milan's victory against Newcastle at the St. James' Park. He said these words:
"Yesterday we saw the strength of the alternatives available to Pioli. Okafor returned after his injury break, Chukwueze and Jovic have been showing signs in the last few games. The much-criticized Milan market showed signs yesterday. Then, of course, in January, Milan will have to do something in the market."
On AC Milan's moves in the winter:
"January's mercato? Certainly, a defender will arrive, maybe even two. They will also try for an attacker: in recent weeks, the player they've focused on the most is Guirassy from Stuttgart, who has a release clause of 17 million. Perhaps the defender will come on loan. If Gabbia returns from his loan at Villarreal, they might still bring in another center-back."
