AC Milan are very close to signing Matija Popovic, who turned 18 just yesterday. He is currently a free agent once his contract expired with Partizan Belgrade at the end of last December. He is a talented attacking midfielder who is ready for a new adventure.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the Rossoneri club management is finally ready to seal the deal with the player despite attempts from Premier League side Manchester City who were trying to hijack the deal.
The AC Milan managers, however, have always been confident of closing this deal, which they have been pursuing for several months.
