Regarding the AC Milan transfer market, the club will make a significant investment in attack this summer. Here's the headline published by the Tuttosport newspaper in this morning's print edition:
"Attempt to sign Zirkzee. Milan, there's a treasure of almost 40 million."
The Bologna striker has exploded this season and has become the top target for the Rossoneri to strengthen its offensive department for the upcoming season.
The 22-year-old Dutchman is valued at around 40 million euros, which is the amount of the buyout clause in favour of Bayern Munich. However, Bayern does not seem interested in bringing the Dutch gem back to Bavaria.
AC Milan has yet to decide whether to go for Zirkzee, but in the meantime, they have a substantial treasure of around 40 million euros ready. In addition to the 3 million received for Junior Messias and 5 million euros for Rade Krunic, more money could come in the summer from the buyouts of Alexis Saelemaekers (12 million euros) and Charles De Ketelaere (23 million euros).
