Paolo Scaroni, president of Milan, intervened on 'Radio Anch'io Sport' on Rai Radio 1 and spoke on various topics, starting with Stefano Pioli:

"Pioli's future? I echo the words of both our director Furlani and Ibra: we have total confidence in Pioli and the results are strengthening this confidence. So for the moment, calm prevails on this front."

On the new stadium project in San Donato, Scaroni said:

"We have bought the lands, we have received a preliminary favorable decision from the San Donato municipality, we have a series of steps involving the region and other local authorities. We are relatively optimistic, although in Italy, being optimistic about stadium construction is quite a challenging task. We are moving forward, we need a new stadium. The mayor of Milan has asked us to make a final attempt to see if a renovation, perhaps slight, of San Siro stadium is possible. From this point of view, I am rather negative, I cannot understand how significant work can be carried out in a stadium where 70,000 people enter every week. Technically, it is a difficult issue to tackle. But the mayor asks it of us, and we respect his wishes."

On Rafael Leao:

"I love his goals like crazy, but if he continues to make assists like yesterday's, I'm fine with that too."

Scaroni also said:

"We in the Lega Serie A finance the entire football movement. There is an anomaly linked to the Melandri law,we are the ones who pay all the bills of Italian football but we have little decision-making power. There is a problem with clubs that have so many players going to the national team, there are too many matches and this becomes unbearable. So there are many injuries. We think there are too many matches. We want to safeguard the players. That is why we are discussing going back to the format with 18 teams. Serie A must have more power within the FIGC. We asked President Gravina. It is not clear why we only have 12% of the decision-making power."
