There is talk about new figures joining Milan, either in form of sponsors or minority investors. This much was confirmed by Gerry Cardinale in a recent interview.
The confirmation and analysis comes also from Milan News who explain that the hypothesis could materialise. The RedBird boss recently made trips to the Middle East along with the AC Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani to see if there are new scenarios to be explored.
Cardinale has been open to investors but without relinquishing majority control of the club. In the Middle East, where there is a lot of willingness to invest in sports, as well as in other parts of the world, Cardinale could strike deals with new partners for the construction of the new stadium, or aim for new sponsors and collaborations. Alternatively, and it's not to be excluded, he could opt to sell minority stakes in the club to new shareholders. And it would be good news for Milan, which would have even more financial strength.
