La Gazzetta dello Sport reports this morning that the top two names on the Milan executives' list are Joshua Zirkzee of Bologna and Benjamin Sesko of Leipzig.
The latter has been followed by the Rossoneri for some time, but at the moment the absolute favorite is the Dutchman, as he already knows Serie A and has the technical means to move in all areas of attack.
Obviously, the competition is fierce, but Zirkzee, at this point in his career, seems inclined towards a new transfer to Italy to continue his growth before moving to the Premier League.
In terms of valuation, the starting price for the transfer fee will be 40 million euros, which is also the same amount needed to lure Sesko away from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.
