On Sunday, Milan returns to play at San Siro: at 6 p.m., the Rossoneri will meet Genoa in a match that has very little to say. Stefano Pioli's team simply needs to try to secure the second place in the standings, keeping it at the expense of Juventus, while Genoa is now automatically safe and will play without pressure, and perhaps for plain fun.
The atmosphere, however, could be anything but festive for the Rossoneri Milan against Genoa, it will be the Rossoneri's first home match after the derby. A humiliating game for Stefano Pioli's men and they must absolutely leave everything on the pitch in the remaining games of the season to prove some kind of redemption, also after a very dull and disappointing draw away from home against Massimiliano Allegri's Juventus where zero shots were attempted.
For this reason, today Tuttosport warns about the atmosphere that will be experienced at the stadium:
"Team and management: heavy air at San Siro on Sunday."
The great celebration through the streets of Milan by the Interista cousins has only increased frustration in the Rossoneri camp. A less-than-full stadium is expected, unlike what we have been accustomed to lately, and there are also fears of some protests, even from the Curva Sud members, which has always stood by the team as support but may now make itself heard.
It is not yet known if there is anything organised to display, but the feeling is that everyone could be targeted.
