Rafael Leao, who scored against Uzbekistan, spoke to DAZN after the match. Here are his words:
How much better do you feel?
"I have to celebrate with my family because this season has been difficult for me. Injuries and many things in between. The season with Milan as well. I have to thank my family, who have helped me up to now. This match, this goal, is for them."
What was your first thought after the goal?
"About all the hard work, with my personal trainer and my teammates. I have to thank the head coach because he has given me confidence up to today, because there are many strong players in Portugal, so I am very happy to be here."
What kind of Leao will we see now?
"I have to do it for myself; I do not have to do it for anyone else. For my teammates and my coach. I am happy because I helped the team, and getting minutes was important."
On the future at Milan and the arrival of Amorim, Leao said:
"At this moment I have to stay focused on the World Cup. What I know about this coach is that he is very good. He did well in Portugal; at United things did not go as he wanted, but he remains a great coach. I will decide my future after the World Cup."
