It has been reported for some time, that there is a new competition in the discussions that would include 15 teams as permanent members , namely the European Super League. The teams involved include Milan and Juventus, as reported by La Stampa.
Yesterday, however, Infantino's statements emerged in which he says that those who take part in the Super League will be excluded from other international competitions. It is perhaps some sort of warning from FIFA as the president said : "It would not be recognised by either FIFA or the respective confederation"
According to Repubblica, there would be 20 participants and 15 permanent founding members. Each club would have a guaranteed income of €350 millions per season and there could be two groups of ten teams each. The top 4 of each group would go to play-offs and the first 5 clubs in the rankings would qualify for the Clubs World Cup.
